Day 1
Arrival to Yerevan, Capital of Armenia. Meeting with the driving guide and driver. Accommodation, shower and rest. Orientation meeting with the guide. City tour in Yerevan. View majestic panorama of Holy Mount Ararat - the Biblical Mountain, where the Noah’s Ark landed and granted Humanity the Second Birth. This is one of the most impressive views in the World for every human being to see at least once during his/her life.
Visit to Erebuni Fortress, a fortified city where Yerevan was founded in 782 B.C. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities on the Planet: it is older than Rome.
Visit to Matendaran, a unique scientific institute and museum of ancient manuscripts.
Trip to Garni Temple. Human occupation in this area dates back to the 3rd millennium BC. The first written testimony to the existence of a fortress here comes from the Roman historian Tactius, 1st century AD. Great view on Azat River Canyon.
Lunch in Garni village. Enjoy traditional Armenian healthy food: organic fruits, vegetable salads, Armenian famous barbeque and other dishes, wine, fruit made vodka, and home made sweets. For vegetarians: special menu.
Trip to Geghard Monastery, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an incredible ancient Armenian monastery, partly carved out of a mountain. The monastery complex was founded in the 4th century by Gregory the Illuminator - founder of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The name GEGHARD means Spear. It was the Spear which had wounded Jesus at the Crucifixion, brought to Armenia by Apostle Jude (called Thaddeus in Armenia), and stored amongst many other relics. Currently it is displayed in the Treasury of Holy Echmiadzin.

Visit Lake Sevan peninsula and the Sevanavank monastery.
Originally made from three churches, the monastery was built on an island. Receding waters in the 20th century created the current peninsula. The island was uninhabited until the end of the 8th c. CE, when monks built a chapel and a group of cells.
Lunch in a restaurant near the Lake Sevan: tasting famous fish from Sevan Lake. Return to Yerevan, free time.

Visit to Museum of Sergey Parajanov, world known film director. One of the greatest masterpieces of the 20th century world cinema, Sergei Parajanov's "Color of the Pomegranate", a biography of the Armenian troubadour Sayat Nova (King of Song) reveals the poet's life more through his poetry than a conventional narration of important events in Sayat Nova's life. Comprising some 1,400 exhibits, the museum’s collection includes installations, collages, assemblages, drawings, dolls, and hats. The museum also showcases unpublished screenplays, librettos, and various artworks which Parajanov created while in prison.

Visit to the Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial.
Visit Holy Echmiadzin - the administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Sightseeing St. Hripsime Church, 618 AD and Mother Cathedral - the most ancient Christian temple of Armenia, one of the first in entire Christian world. This church together with other nearby sites is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stopover at the Zvartnots temple, a ruined seventh century circular Armenian cathedral (641-653) - UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit to the Gafesjian Center for Arts. The majority of exhibitions are derived from the private collection of its main benefactor, Mr. Gerard L. Cafesjian. This collection of more than 5,000 works includes one of the most comprehensive glass collections in the world. The collection also has substantial holdings in drawing, painting and sculpture by such influential artists as Fernando Botero, Arshile Gorky, Jennifer Bartlett, and Andy Warhol. Cafesjian Sculpture Garden is located at the base of the Cascade and presents one of the finest collections of monumental sculpture found anywhere in the world.

Visit the Museum of World known Composer Aram Khachaturian. The composer's most known works are the ballets Spartacus and Gayane. His music from "Sabre Dance" is familiar to almost everyone in the World.
Tour in Armenian Brandy Factory. Armenians started making their brandy since the times of Noah, when the biblical patriarch planted the first vineyard at the foothills of Mount Ararat. The present famous Armenian Brandy Factory (Armenian Cognac Factor) was built in 1887. Armenian Brandy was the top brand name drink in the Soviet Union. It was the beloved drink for the British PM Sir Winston Churchill, who recommended this drink for long living.
Free time for shopping and rest.
Farewell party in a very nice Armenian restaurant. Enjoy live folk music, dance, Armenian traditional toasts and a superior atmosphere.
