Name of the tour: Seven days in mountains
Duration: 7 days
Tour area: Near Idjevan city, Tavush Region, 150 km away from Yerevan.
Locality: mountains, caves, wonderful gorges and waterfalls, alpine meadows and dense forests, historical monuments, springs, mountain rivers.
Horses: Armenian village horses with all gears
Best time for the tour: End of April to end of October

Day 1 150 km car drive Arrival in Yerevan. Drive to Yenokavan (1,5 hours). Check in in the equestrian sports complex. Breakfast. Visit to the horse stable, checkup of horses. Training in the riding-school (mandatory for all members of the group). Lunch. Trip: Gomer – Chanchi Kar – Krana Takht – Vansi Kap – Gomer (2,5 hours), visit to a unique cross stone shop in beech forest. Supper. Overnight stop in Gomer.
Day 2 Breakfast. Trip: Gomer – Berdatekh. Lunch in mountains, return to sports complex (trip takes not less then 5 hours). Rest. Supper.
Day 3 Breakfast. Trip: Gomer – Okon (3 hours), lunch in a mountain apiary, fishing and swimming in the river. 20 minute trekking to Hripsimeakhpyur spring, which is healing water and is recommended especially to women. Supper. Overnight stop in tents or in a house in Okon (shower, hot water).
Day 4 Breakfast. Trip to Berzener – Kamut (meadow, grove, river). Places created for horseback riding tours. Lunch near a spring. Then two options are available: Option 1. Return to Okon (3,5-4 hours), Supper, and overnight stop in Okon. Option 2. Overnight stop in tents in Kamut.
Day 5 Breakfast. Option 1. Trip: Okon – Gomer (the rode is not the same as Day 3) the trip takes about 3 hours. Option 2. Trip: Kamut – Okon – Gomer the trip takes about 5 hours. Lunch next to Etakhpyur (the healing waters of this spring bring youth and strength). For those who have more energy a trekking is offered: Homer – Lastiver caves (3 hours). Dinner. Overnight stop in Gomer.
Day 6 150 km car drive Breakfast. Preparations to leave. Trip: Gomer – Tanzu Tala – Kanacher (2 hours). Trekking through the gorge of Khachakhpyur in Nvezner (40 minutes). Sightseeing the St. Sarkis chapel. Hiking through an orchard (40 minutes). Lunch in Nvezner cave. Drive to Yerevan (1,5 hours). Accommodation in Yerevan.
Day 7 Breakfast. Drive to St. Echmiadzin the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Sightseeing the Mother See of St. Echmiadzin. Visit to the Treasury of Holy Echmiadzin. Visit to Zvartnots Temple. Transfer to the airport. Departure.

The tour package price includes: transfers from/to airport, overnights in guest houses and in tents for two, food, guide services, cruises (horseback riding and trekking), accommodation in a private apartment in central Yerevan (1 night), breakfast in Yerevan, excursion guide for the 7th day, entrance tickets.

The tour package price does not include: air-tickets, air-tax (10 000 AMD), insurance for active rest, alcohol, personal expenses and additional tours not included in the tour program.
