Outdoor handcrafts market This outdoor market is located right next to Republic Square and is active only on weekends. Vernissage attracts all those who are interested in walking through an outdoor picture gallery, all those who are hurry to purchase amazing Armenian handcraft souvenirs, jewelry, ancient and new Armenian carpets, books and much more. Apart and above all Vernissage is a fine place to get legendary Armenian Duduk and Dhol two originally Armenian musical instruments which are present in every Armenian wedding and celebration!

Simply across the street from Vernissage, is the statue of Vardan Mamikanyan, the renowned Armenian troop leader who fought for Christian Armenia 16 centuries ago.
